Physician and scientist, J. Leon Morales-Quezada MD, MSc, is the recipient of the"Aesculapius" medal for his career in the field of neurological rehabilitation, and the Gold Medal Honor from Centro de Reabilita9ao Nossa Senhora da Glória (Rio de Janeiro, 2007) for his work in pediatric rehabilitation. He has also received the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award as a fellow in integrative medicine and placebo studies at the Beth Israel Deaconess. Medical Center and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Harvard Medical School.
