When the horizon cone of a set coincides with its recession cone, we say that the set is regular. This condition enables the development of tools for studying problems involving functions and multifunctions where there are no convexity or boundedness conditions. On the other hand, for the study of set convergence, we introduce a new Hausdorff-type metric based on the oriented distance.
