Valladolid has a small airport with flights to different cities in Spain and Europe. It offers daily flights to Barcelona, which therefore allows the city to be connected to many places around the world by plane. <a href="http://www.aena.es/csee/Satellite/Aeropuerto-Valladolid/en/Page/1048607593385/" target="_blank">Valladolid Airport</a>

 However, the main advantage is that Valladolid is linked to Madrid by high speed train, which takes just one hour, with many trains every day. Valladolid is mainly reached through Madrid airport<a href="http://www.renfe.com/EN/viajeros/trenmasavion/index_EN.html?icid=HENCombinadoTrenAvion2015" target="_blank">.</a> Trains leave from Madrid-Chamartin and Madrid-Atocha railway stations and stop at Valladolid-Campo Grande. There is no direct train from Madrid airport to Valladolid, but connection between Madrid Airport and Madrid railway stations can be done by <a href="https://www.metromadrid.es/en/index.html" target="_blank">underground</a>, <a href="http://www.renfe.com/EN/viajeros/cercanias/" target="_blank">train</a> (there is a train station in Madrid Airport Terminal 4 that connects with Madrid Chamartin station) or taxi.

 Madrid is 200 Km away, and takes about two or two and half hours to reach by car or coach. There is a direct coach from Madrid Airport (Terminal 4) to Valladolid. <a href="https://www.alsa.es/en/home" style="font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;" target="_blank">Bus Alsa</a>

 The different terminals of Madrid Airport are connected by a free shuttle bus.
